While participation in the Maw Maw Walk doesn't require registration, paying the $20 fee allows you to enter the costume contest, enter to win raffle prize, and receive exclusive Maw Maw Walker swag.
In addition to supporting local downtown businesses, South Lafourche High School will be serving down the bayou homemade favorites as well as your favorite concession eats! All proceeds raised from concession sales will go directly to South Lafourche High School.

This awesome event takes place in Houma's Downtown Historic District, centered around the Bandstand.
The fun begins at noon with a costume contest for the best-dressed maw maw and paw paw. The main feature will be the walking pub crawl, known as the Maw Maw Walker. The purpose of this event is to bring patronage to downtown restaurants and pubs, and the downtown area in general. The pub crawl will begin following the costume contest on the bandstand and will finish with the concert beginning at 4PM back on Main Street.
